For the first time ever I will not be going to the polls. I always vote Labour. I could never vote for Brown!.............

Does anyone know whether the bookies will take a bet on Hague being the next Tory leader? It is worth having a punt...........

Labour have bought and continue to buy many votes but I think the country wants change and the Tories could win despite Clown Cameron.

Everyone has forgotten about Blair in a couple of months, such is the mentality of the British electorate.

A lot depends on the weather and the price of booze!

Everyone I know wants to leave the country!!!

Extraordinary:

Polly Toynbee

Is this some kind of clever trick?

Rofl ... from our Polly ... doesn't seem likely, does it ... of course, it could be a very unclever trick ...

Oops, Polly. Either you are a little bit confused, trying to be awfully clever, or perhaps, you are beginning to see the light?

Maybe, you really are beginning to see the light ..?

Are you?

Impossible to tell at the moment, but look forward to reading more.

Jungle,

You are dreaming. If you think Cameron will win I suggest putting some money on at the bookies - odds are pretty long. He hasn't a hope in hell. He's just spin. He has no principles. He'll say whatever the pollsters tell him to say and he won't even sound convincing saying it.

This isn't a defence of Brown, or any other politician. My respect for politicians is virtually non existent. But out of a bad lot, Cameron comes near the bottom.

Hague would be better in my opinion, I still think he will be leader one day. He comes across as a genuinely likeable bloke (and he can drink 13 pints in one sitting). I think when he became leader he was too young and lacked the kind of experienced elder statesment type aura that people like to see.

I think Brown will call an election, most like Autumn, but possibly in the Spring.

Wee Willy Hague?

ROFL

No way is that going to happen.

As I've said before, Cameron is a winner. He will do a great job for the country.

He already has.

Naturally, he has made some mistakes - and, who hasn't ...

Will Brown call an election or not - hmm ... it certainly would be a risk.

I'm having doubts that Brown will call a snap. The odds are too much against him, polls aside.

My view may pass, but it's Brown's to lose, not win.

Agreed.

The public were not ready for him last time, and as you point out, he has also matured.

I think he would be an excellent PM Bloke, he was simply before his time when he was Tory leader last time, he has matured into an excellent statesman.

Cameron just doesn't have it and other Tories are tainted with Thatcherism, I do think the country is looking for change, the middle classes have been crucified by the present government.

Memories of Thatcherism are what have re-elected the Labour party for so long!!!

William Hague will be the next Prime Minister after Gordon Brown, assuming there is no change of Prime Minister without a General Election.

Hm! Polls are very deceiving depending on when they are taken!

I suspect the country is ready for change, problem is that Cameron was a Blair clone and as we all know many have forgotten Blair already!

To snap, or not to snap, that is the question?

Brown looks as if he could well call it ...

What say you?

Brown's private equity attack is clue to a snap election

Yes, indeed. And we shouldn't overlook Our Jack's contribution neither ...
